Check-ins for friends family and neighbors

Today there was another scanner (EMS) call for a person that was found pulseless, not breathing and no one was sure how long they'd been down. Please, take it upon yourself to look out for your neighbors. They won't always ask for help.

This section is also for you to offer to check in on someone that posts here for help.

Please get to know your neighbors are they elderly, alone or have mobility issues? Have a code established to know they are ok, maybe if this light is on you know I am ok.
Maybe they can post colored paper in their window? A certain color if they need something from store or need someone to stop & help them?
Watch to see if you don’t see them getting mail, car hasn’t moved for a few days you could be saving a life if you call for welfare check- rather have a false alarm than find out they had been down for a few days.
Remember you’d want this done for your family member if they lived out of town or were elderly.
Too many circumstances that could be prevented……. think of others, help one another, be the change!!
